Pants farewell party

Anyone interested in a bit partying and dancing on the OL grid this Saturday OCT10 from around 7:00 pm UTC to 10:00 pm.
I could be in the mood to celebrate my farewell - no no no not from the grid, just for holidays.
As usual, until now, no live DJ yet (volunteers are welcome) - so, I just will switch some popular radio streams to avoid too much ads, hehehe - or a talented DJ might turn up all in a sudden, never know

future of OLX

I don't know what is currently going on with OLX, but would be grateful to receive some info about what is planned in the future.
For me, OLX is a very nice and valuable platform for networking about OLX and OL, so I would love to see that previous functions would be enabled again like instant posting, showing recent uploaded pics, chat, etc etc.
I could fully understand if the people who run this site and take responsibility for it are for which reasons ever not able anymore to do this in the w… Continue

thank you for reply-yes im all sorted with PayPal etc & doesnt seem to matter where i am-i can not Buy anything lol 1 avatar has been able too but as i cant send anything via Profiles-i have to see the person & click on them-it means i cant exchange money myself. It realy is like i dont exist on here! Very confusing. Its abit like SL at the start-not alot works for me.Im new to OL but a few years on SL so im fully aware of how everything should work but OL is abit like it hasnt been finished yet.

OLPC Openlife Community

I have created a venue where OLPC developers or educators can meet in a virtual environment, regardless of their physical location on the planet - the OLPC Centre on the Openlife Grid.

The Openlife Grid is a virtual world (Opensim architecture) that allows people to meet and interact in a virtual environment. In that environment your presence is represented by a character on screen (avatar).

I am opening up the OLPC Openlife center as a place for any OLPC and XO developers and educators to meet. Although the location is virtual the immersive experience of 'being present' is there.
